"Some Weird Bait"

As any good fisherman knows, the bait itself and its presentation is what makes all the difference. Although on certain days all your infinite wisdom, and every lure known to man may still not be enough to land a fish. There are literally dozens of different ways to enhance ones ability to catch fish. You may need to change the color of your lure, or the depth that you are fishing, or maybe even your location on the lake or river. It could be your line is to heavy, or maybe your hook is too big. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. 

Persistence and adaptability is the key to your success, yet on some days nothing will work. God sure designed some interesting bait when he made us, that’s for sure. As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men”.
